Patricia Simone was raised in Amherstburg and has been an Amherstburg resident for almost thirty years.
A graduate of Stella Maris Elementary School and Villanova High School, she attended Fanshawe College where she received her Law Clark diploma before returning to Amherstburg to study at the University of Windsor where she graduated with a B.A. Honours Political Science and Communications Studies. She also attended George Washington University where she received a Program of Applied Politics Certificate.
Patricia works at the University of Windsor's Cross-Border Institute as Business Development Research Coordinator.
Patricia has volunteered with the Essex County International Women’s Day Committee, the Council of Women for Women’s Enterprise Skills Training of Windsor (WEST), the Shores of Erie International Wine Festival and the Verdi Club.
Patricia is a long-time member of the Amherstburg Police Services Board. Patricia supported an independent police force for Amherstburg, and was opposed to the City of Windsor taking over our police department.
Patricia is known for her hard work, and her dedication to public issues.
Patricia and her husband Paul Mersch live in Amherstburg on Alma Street.
