Patricia Simone is the Director of Grants and Programs at Build a Dream, a national non-profit organization dedicated to advancing diversity and inclusion initiatives to ensure equitable opportunities for everyone to succeed.
Her previous work experience includes Business Development Research Coordinator at the University of Windsor’s Cross Border Institute and Administrative Coordinator with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
In her role as Councillor, Patricia sits on the Town of Amherstburg Heritage Committee, Audit and Finance Committee and the Economic Development Committee.
Patricia attended Fanshawe College where she received her Law Clerk diploma before returning to Amherstburg to study at the University of Windsor where she graduated with a B.A. Honours Political Science and Communications Studies. She also attended George Washington University where she received a Program of Applied Politics Certificate.
Patricia volunteers with a number of organizations, including Amherstburg Meals on Wheels and the Essex County International Women’s Day Committee.
Patricia and her husband Paul Mersch live in Amherstburg on Alma Street.
